This book contains succinct biographical sketches of the reformers from every major country in Europe. Here were heroes of the cross who were willing to suffer persecution and death in order that the faith they held dear might be kindled in a thousand other lives. Their basic faith has come down to modern Protestantism from the church of the Apostles. The faith and freedom they bequeathed us must be preserved in our day.
